Now it is time to create the website page that will get your visitors to sign up to your list. These are typically called ‘Name Pages’, ‘Squeeze Pages’, ‘MiniSites’ or ‘Landing Pages’. We highly recommend you add more pages to your site – we will get to some of them later on in this course, but in case you are working on the site now, at the minimum would be needed a contact page, privacy policy, and Blog. Back to the main page of your site (for now) – not many words are used on these pages but the words used are critical to ensure a high conversion rate – Conversion rate is sign ups to visitors. You are looking to create the highest probability for people signing up.
The page has a few sections.
The top is the headline. The Headline is KEY. You need to create an emotional response from someone, create a benefit for them. They are going to give you their info – what are YOU giving THEM in return? It has to be clear on this page.
Next come the bullet points. The bullets then need to draw their attention and rouse their curiousity.
The most essential point we can share about the email collection, is that you NEVER use the word SUBMIT!! It needs to read something like – Get your X here, Free Instant Access, or something similar.

Each of these options are AMAZING… but which way to go really depends on your skill level! I am fortunate enough to have learned some basic HTML 10 years ago, and now just copy the pages I like on the web! I highly recommend taking an afternoon to learn some basic HTML and FTP.. tools that will serve you well in any online biz!
